This Alphabet Intervention game will have your students up and moving (“swimming”) while learning and reinforcing these crucial phonics skills!
Are you looking to add more movement games into your Guided Reading or literacy content block?
Do you have any students who need extra support with alphabet letter recognition and letter sound correspondence?
Alphabet Ocean Movement Game – Included:
This ocean-themed alphabet resource includes 4 x 6″ “fish” cards featuring uppercase and lowercase letters and FORTY picture cards. I also added “extras” cards for additional practice and more ocean fun!
I included a list of my favorite movement games to use with these cards, plus additional ideas to use with your students.
These learning games target alphabet skills, but included so much fun with cooperative learning, you may also find your students requesting to play during indoor recess and earned brain breaks.
Print this set once and use over and over to reach all your students' needs.
You will receive a downloadable zip file. There is a pdf (53 pages) featuring the alphabet cards, picture cards, and all the instructions for use. I have also included a PowerPoint slide of the blank fish template – simply add a text box to customize for your students.
