Sentence Editing and Phonics Skills all rolled into one huge set!
This is a printable pack with 200 “fix-it” sentences that need to be edited for capitalization, comma usage, and/or punctuation.
I use these with my students who need extra practice (every day!) with reading, writing, and editing.
The 200 pages follow a K-2 phonics skills with sight words appropriate for mid-kindergarten through mid-first grade. This would be an ideal supplement for any curriculum or distance learning at home.
There's also a section for a “chum check” rubric and small illustration (check for comprehension!).
These pages work well for work samples in student portfolios, morning work, homework, and for early finishers. These pages also work well in sheet protectors or dry erase plastic sleeves to use in a literacy center!
Please note: there are no spelling errors in the sentences to be fixed. This is intentional as I want my students applying their phonics skills.
