Nouns – Introduce visual vocabulary words using 3 Part Cards. 

These vocabulary cards support building a strong picture and text connection.

This set of 30 nouns (10 people, 10 place, 10 animal/thing) has been designed for the busy special education classroom with strong visuals in black and white for easy printing and options for color-coding (printing on colored paper).

Another addition to these visuals is a “4th card” – using the word in the context

of the sentence. Please note: these sentences are very simple to be accessible to early readers.

We work on ELA skills in small groups, but these cards are a perfect addition to an independent literacy centers.

A data recording page is included to track student progress.
