Meet the Teacher – Q and A time!
Several teacher bloggers decided to create a thread to introduce ourselves.
Here's my turn:
Hello, my name is Jennifer. I'm a special educator splitting my time between inclusion (mostly first grade) and pull-out services (resource room).
Previously, I taught piano/early childhood music for fifteen years. Not revealing age, because we can all do the math 😉
THESE ARE A FEW OF MY FAVORITE THINGS…
- motivational quotes
- workout playlists
- Christmas music
- school supplies
- coffee
IF YOU WEREN'T A TEACHER, WHAT WOULD YOU WANT TO BE?
I can't imagine doing anything else, but if I won the lottery, I would…
- become a parent advocate for students receiving special education
- write a curriculum online (from the beach)
- become a full-time student – forever – I love to learn!
- be a professional organizer
THREE LITTLE WORDS THAT DESCRIBE YOU
- driven
- focused
- ???
FINISH THE SENTENCE, “________, SAID NO TEACHER EVER!!”
“Sure, I'm free tonight! I just finished ALL my work!”
Q: IT'S YOUR BIRTHDAY AND YOU CAN INVITE ANYONE {DEAD OR ALIVE} TO THE PARTY. WHO ARE YOU INVITING?
My family and friends.
And Jackie Kennedy Onassis.
Q: YOU GET TO PICK ONE SUPERPOWER. WHAT IS IT?
I wouldn't require sleep.
Q: WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE QUOTE OR SAYING?
“She believed she could, so she did.”
Q: IF YOU HAD TO SING ONE SONG ON AMERICAN IDOL, WHAT WOULD IT BE?
Um, can't sing, at all. Probably Beyonce…Ring the Alarm
Q: ARE YOU A MORNING PERSON OR A NIGHT OWL?
MORNING!!
Q: WHAT'S YOUR FAVORITE RESOURCE THAT YOU'VE CREATED IN YOUR TPT SHOP?
I don't think I've created my “favorite” yet, but I use this set every single day of the school year (and sometimes twice a day!):
What do you think? Did any answers surprise you?
What do we have in common? Let me know!
