My students have been ROCKIN' IT in Guided Reading and I wanted to celebrate them with these free student bookmarks!

We just finished our third (out of four) rounds of Fountas and Pinnell testing. This week,  we are remaining in our current Power Hour groups because this is the last week before Spring Break (yes!).

The first grade team has already restructured the fourth quarter groups based on this most recent data. We'll be welcoming our new groups the week we return from spring break!

As the special educator on the team, I work with students who have specific early literacy goals and objectives on the I.E.Ps. On this year's caseload, the majority of these students are currently measuring below grade level for first grade. I also work with additional first graders (not on my caseload) who are also at the same reading level.

I will be working with a few of the same students and many new ones! I'll be rotating three groups: Level E, F, and G. I'm excited to “move up” a bit in levels.

Remind me to share the time I taught Level AA for FOUR quarters!

I'm offering these cute student bookmarks
as a token of appreciation for all their hard work:

Student Bookmark Gifts

The free bookmarks are available in black and white to save ink. I recommend printing on your students' favorite colors!

I wrote a quick note to each student and then laminated the book marks for durability.

If you can use these black/white bookmarks to celebrate your students' reading, download them here! I hope they LOVE them!
